Social Worker
Lisa Moore joined Madison Adoption Associates in July of 2017, as a home study case worker. She is very excited to assist families in the adoption process, helping to bring children to their forever homes. Lisa feels privileged to play a small part in the lives of families who have opened their hearts and homes to an orphan in need.
Lisa graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. In the past 30 years, she has taught in both public and private schools, as well as home-schooled for 8 years. She is very active in her church working in the Early Childhood ministry.
Lisa has been happily married to her husband, Roger, for 35 years. They have six wonderful children, ranging in age from 18-31 years of age. She and her husband began their own adoption story 19 years ago with the adoption of two beautiful little girls from Haiti. Seven and a half years later, they again adopted another precious little Haitian boy. Their adopted children joined three birth children to complete their family of eight. God called Lisa and Roger to adopt, “to look after orphans…in their distress” (James 1:27). However, they feel that they are the ones who have been tremendously blessed through the lives of their children.
