Social Worker
Erica Fischer-Kaslander joined Madison Adoption Associates in 2013 after working in the field of both domestic and international adoption since 2005. Erica has built both professional and personal experience in child welfare, adoption, program management, and child advocacy. She holds a B.A. from Drew University and an M.A. in Child Advocacy from Montclair State University. She is dedicated to the best interests of children and honored to aid in placing children in loving adoptive homes through MAA. Erica’s background and passion is in the areas of open adoption, international children’s rights, and medical advocacy for at risk foster and adopted youth. She is the proud “big sister” to Guy, adopted at age 12 from West Africa as well the god mother and sister-in-law to many adopted children. Erica also serves as the Executive Director of Passaic County CASA for Children, a child advocacy organization. She resides in Northern New Jersey with her husband and two sons.
