Torticollis also referred to as Wry neck or Loxia: Torticollis means “twisted neck”, and if a child has this condition, their will tilt to one side, while the chin tilts to the other. The child will typically have a tightening in the muscles of the neck, which will cause limited movement, and they may also have a lump on one side of the neck. Babies may also develop positional plagiocephaly (asymmetrical head shape) because they will sleep more on one side than the other.
